Andy Hess of Yorkshire Physical Therapy

I have been a licensed physical therapist since 1985. I received a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health – Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut and earned a Master of Arts in Ergonomics and Orthopedic Biomechanics from New York University in 1995. I am currently a doctoral candidate at Widener University (Doctor of Physical Therapy).

I started Yorkshire Physical Therapy in 1994 with my wife, Beth O’Connor Hess, who shares the same passion in the field of physical therapy as a pediatric physical therapist. We also have three children.

I am currently licensed in New Jersey (license 40QA00337800) and Pennsylvania (license PT002066E). My career has been balanced with both physical therapy and ergonomics as well as orthopedics and sports medicine. I have also spent the past ten years working on injury prevention. I am also a certified ergonomist.

I have worked as a consultant and employee in the pharmaceutical, trucking, car rental, and travel industries.

I have been active coaching youth sports, including track & field, football, basketball (boys and girls), baseball and softball. I volunteered as a United Way mentor at Morristown High School for three years.

Most recently, all of my time and energy has been applied to the growth and development of Yorkshire Physical Therapy and S.A.F.E. Sports.
